stewarding our seconds
I must remind myself that God, living inside me in the person of the Holy Spirit, promises to give me His “sufficient grace” for the moment.
For THIS moment.
All of a sudden I find my perspective shifting…
encouragement: the intentional filling of one another
Have you ever been on the receiving end of someone’s words of encouragement? Have you ever experienced the fullness, even overflow, that can come from them? You can feel so “filled up” that you cannot help but want to pass on similar words to those around you.
Then why can it still be a struggle? What prevents us from offering these life-giving words to others…
confusing the faithfulness of God
I had confused God’s faithfulness with Him answering my prayers according to how I was praying, desiring the outcome after which I was seeking. Does that make sense? I had gotten the two intertwined, when nowhere in Scripture are we taught this.
The Lord kindly reminded me that morning that He was with me…it was the faithfulness of His presence that I needed…
