ep 23 “on mission: our families” with chris and sabrina miller

Today we are starting a new series entitled “On Mission”.  We asking the Lord to open our eyes to all the different ways we can apply the gospel and live out His call in every area of our lives....our past, our families, our homes, our prodigals, even down to the shorter seasons of our lives.   In other words, there is no area or facet of our lives that He does not desire to leverage for kingdom opportunities and to glorify His name!  What can seem scary or intimidating can be one of our coolest adventures, as we learn how to recognize his promptings and where He is at work in and around us.

I am sitting down with some good friends of mine and parents of 11 (yes, parents of 11 :)) Chris and Sabrina Miller.  We are chatting candidly about their family, trusting God in the unknown and His amazing work in the inconceivable and unexplainable.

How can we recognize opportunities for gospel conversations inside our families and outside as well? What does this even look like? How can we practically remain firmly rooted in God’s truth when we feel like we are in the midst of a trial, unsure how it will work out? How can we recognize the enemy amid conflict or heightened emotions within our families and seek the Lord’s help in navigating through it? How can scripture serve as our lifeline when it seems all around us is falling?

I hope this conversation brings great encouragement.
